The Terror of God

Genesis 35:5 Then they set out, and the terror of God fell upon the towns all around them so that no one pursued them.

PERSONAL COMMENTARY

There's something unsettling about the phrase "the terror of God."

    that's why people really become christian in the firstplace.
    there's more pleasure to be had by not following the bible but the sheer fear of when it comes to the possiblity of some huge creature tossing you in a flaming pit or whatever...
