Women's hand to be cut off for......

Deut. 5:11-12 If two men fight together, and the wife of one draws near to rescue her husband from the hand of the one attacking him, and puts out her hand and seizes him by the genitals, then you shall cut off her hand; your eye shall not pity her.

I must admit I do not get this one. However, I'm just a finite being. God is infinite.

I think, should I give the hand to the other man, as a gift? May be he will found a use to it.

This was obviously in the Old Testament. In the New Testament, the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross gave everyone new laws to live by. The old ways were through with. There is also a verse in the OT that says that if someone cuts off their genitals they cannot be accepted into Heaven. When Jesus died on the cross, he did this so everyone can accept the gift of eternity and of the Spirit.

I know what Stephen Simmons means.

What about all those millions of people who lived before Jesus Christ? Did they deserve to be treated like this?

What makes the Father change so drastically, from denying people into heaven for having their balls cutt-off (and lets face it, if you get your balls cut off... wouldnt it be by either accident or by an attack? I certainly dont think guys were just cutting their genitals around just for fun) to a God that could forgive Hitler after killing who knows how many jews, just because he repents and believes in Jesus 5 minutes before dying?

Something doesnt make sense here to me.
