Samson lights 300 foxes on fire
Judges 15:4-5 So he went out and caught three hundred foxes and tied them tail to tail in pairs. He then fastened a torch to every pair of tails, lit the torches and let the foxes loose in the standing grain of the Philistines. He burned up the shocks and standing grain, together with the vineyards and olive groves.
PERSONAL COMMENTARY
Anyone else feel sorry for the foxes?

Anyone wonder HOW IN THE WORLD he found 300 foxes "just like that"?! On top of that, how did he get all of them to cooperate so that he could light their tails? Surely, "the Spirit of the Lord was upon him"!
I was about to put Samson in my Top 5 of All-Time Animal Abusers but it looks like it could mean the torches were actually dragged some distance behind the foxes..."could mean" but may well not (and probably doesn't). Still, its vague enough to keep him lower on the list...say between 12 and 20 or so.
