Stoned or shot with arrows for touching Mount Sinai
Exodus 19:12-13 Put limits for the people around the mountain and tell them, ‘Be careful that you do not go up the mountain or touch the foot of it. Whoever touches the mountain shall surely be put to death. He shall surely be stoned or shot with arrows; not a hand is to be laid on him. Whether man or animal, he shall not be permitted to live.’ Only when the ram’s horn sounds a long blast may they go up to the mountain.”
PERSONAL COMMENTARY
I have to admit when I stared the blog I did not expect to make it through January without running out of scriptures to post. Boy was I wrong.

Don't worry. When Jesus comes back and takes all the Christians with Him, you will have seven whole years to continue your blasphemy of God's Holy Word.
Keep on preaching the word in season and out. Why sugar-coat it? The god of the Bible is a murderer, and you are one of the few people out there who don't tear that part of the Bible out and forget about it. I love reading your daily inspirations. Please post some verses about how God wants us to murder the non-virgin brides and gays from Deutoronomy. God bless!
Where does the Bible say God wants us to murder non-virgin brides and gays?
The Bible is a vicious, incoherent, rant, so thank you for throwing some much needed light on it.
Blasphemy?? God?? Holy???
The bible's no rant. It's a documentation on God's promise to Abraham for his descendants to expand into something great, and how Israel caused that to cease by being held steadfast to tradition. God figured it wasn't any use trying to lead a bunch of stubborn people to greatness, and it was best to just start over with a clean slate with the rest of the world involved.
However, he instead decided to invite all of his creation who would listen to him to his new World, which is why he allowed his Son to die for humanity's sins. Jesus is like an additional clause that allows third-parties into the covenant God had with Abraham. Look at it as a plane. God promised Abraham's descendants first class seating, because Abraham was honorable to God. The majority of his descendants did not always follow airline protocol, and some even forgot their tickets. So with the empty seats left, God gave away passage on the plane to whoever would take the flight. Those left behind would pay penalties for violating airline rules and regulations. I hope this analogy helps, because it's true: Airlines can be hell these days.
@Anon: In Deuteronomy, there were laws made specifcally for Israel and Israel alone, because if they progressed through life the way God wanted them to entirely, they would have been very successful and powerful by now. He never made laws for the rest of us because he gave Abraham a promise, not our ancestors.
He was an honorable man in God's eyes, so God established himself amongst Israel. God made laws against having sex with animals, and with the same-sex, because there are no biological components for a man and a man(woman and woman or man/woman plus dog) to be together other than perceived emotional or carnal attachments, so biology never truly intended for intergender relations except in certain animals(don't even try to use the prostate card, because childbirth is only possible with male properties and female properties together, except in animal/insect species cases, plus environmental/mental/physical disorders being obstacles considered).
Those laws he made for Israel, but he gave the whole world over to their free will. Israel was given the gist of God's law(Ten Commandments) so they could go about life with some order. Israel was still chaotic in some areas, however, so God let Moses make a thorough set of laws in Deuteronomy so that Israel would not succumb to dangers in the things they were curious about. Dangers like AIDS, other STDs, Parasites/Poisons in certain animals, Anger so on so forth...
But as Jesus said, the only reason Moses had to make laws for Israel in the first place is because Israel was stubborn, disobedient, wicked, and downright disgusting. Still, I'm not saying mankind shouldn't do whatever mankind wants, because we all can do what we wish. And also because a lot of the stories of the bible are both applicable and cryptic. That's why Jesus spoke in parables, because some wouldn't understand the truth even if he told them, so he made stories and examples simple enough for people to grasp the basics of what the Truth is, when USED IN CONTEXT.
