The Spirit of the Lord came on Samson and he killed 30 men
Judges 14:19 Then the Spirit of the LORD came upon him in power. He went down to Ashkelon, killed thirty of their men, stripped them of their belongings and gave their clothes to those who had explained the riddle.
PERSONAL COMMENTARY
At least in the New Testament era, when the Spirit of the Lord comes on people in power, they speak in tongues and prophecy. Much better.

What's wrong with one of God's people killing some of God's enemies when given the power to do so by God Himself?
Exactly, tim, and God just informed me that you are one of His enemies. Being that He speaks to me, I know I am one of His people. Thus I know he will give me the strength to do what I must.
You see? You see how crazy this kind of thinking is? Someone needs to bop you on the head with a rolled up newspaper whenever you say things like that.
